Wang Zhan, male, Han nationality, is a native of Nantong, Jiangsu province. He was born in 1946, obtained a master's degree of arts, and joined the CPC in 1966.
Wang had a successful career as an educator, holding leading positions at Nantong Normal Junior College, where he served as deputy director in the mid-1980's. Subsequently he served as director of the Jiangsu Provincial Education Committee and vice-minister of the Ministry of Education. Wang Zhan is currently vice-governor of Jiangsu province.
